In order to keep old shafts safe & profitable, major mining companies in South-Africa is replacing corroded shaft steelwork at a rapid pace. Most old shafts only have GA drawings, thus manufacturing shaft steelwork especially in shaft bottoms, can become very complicated. TLJ specializes in shop detail drawings of shaft steelwork. One of our largest shaft steelwork projects contained in excess of 100 A1 size detailed shop drawings and took nearly 2 years to complete. Manufacturing & installation started as the first sets of drawings was delivered.Â
